Dr.Kiron Varghese is Professor and Head of the Department of Cardiology, and also the Chief Interventional Cardiologist at St.Johns Medical College, Bangalore. He is a popular and well-known Cardiologist, and his areas of expertise include Interventional Cardiology (Angioplasty and Stenting), Peripheral Interventions and Preventive Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Indian College of Cardiology and Cardiological Society of India.

He Graduated from St John's Medical College with a University Gold Medal in Final MBBS, completed his MD (General Medicine) from Bangalore Medical College, and then did Post-Doctoral training in Cardiology from Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore. Thereafter, he completed a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from the world-famous Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, USA.

 

He has also participated in numerous research projects and has numerous publications to his credit.
